Fern Tree and Longely Taverns: Driving out of Hobart, up and over the mountain (or riding!) after the summit turn off you can find these great little pubs that offer some amazing music combos from swing to jazz, rock to reggae. Give them a call to find out what's on. Meals and snacks also served.
The famous Mount Elephant Pancakes. Stop along the winding route between St Mary's and Bicheno for some delights amongst the moss, gums and mystic.
Freycinet Lodge Bistro. After a wander in the granite fields and over to some beautiful beaches stop in at the lodge's bistro for some great local food and a refreshment on the deck overlooking Great Oyster Bay.
Kabuki by the sea- 12km south of Swansea. Dine in style on local seafoods overlooking the magnificent hazards ocean, accommodation also available.
Stop by for a recharge in Campbell town and find great coffee at the Red Door Cafe & Gallery (South side of town) or Zeps (heart of town). Cheap bakery items can also be found in Banjos just a few shops down.
