Ok, I have just enabled the brand new V2.0 functionality!

This includes:

When viewing a ride page it is now possible to send a request to partake in that ride. The owner of the post will then receive the request and be able to either confirm or decline. Upon confirming a ride it will be shown in a list of upcoming rides for both parties on their home pages, this can be used like a calendar of rides.

When a ride match is confirmed, Cool Pool Tas has a record of the scheduled trip and who will be partaking. This helps us get some idea of how active the site is becoming and it's also a useful safety tool to keep such records.

If two users have confirmed one or more rides together they are then able to submit ratings about each other. These are 5 star ratings on the criteria of safety, friendly and on time. General comments can also be submitted with the rating. Ratings are then shown on the user profile pages.

The map and the user profile pages now show a list of user's Coolpool Buddies. Much like how facebook and other social networking sites work we're hoping this will help users find other people they know within the Cool Pool network and also create the ability to get references before travelling with someone for the first time. e.g. before riding with a stranger send one of their Cool Pool buddies a private message and ask for a character reference.

What operating system you are using (e.g. windows xp, mac OSX, ubuntu linux).
What browser you are using (e.g. internet explorer, firefox, safari, chrome)
What version of the browser you are using (if you're already using IE 8 beta 2 then I'm going to cry).
