Cool Poolers- Regular users may have noticed some subtle changes have occurred on our site.  Here is a quick update for the new or seasoned carpooler.

Discussion Pool

After 3 years in operation now it has become apparent that the Discussion Pool- or cool pool chat page, is not being utilised.  So, it has been disabled for the time being unless by popular demand you want us to bring it back (Perhaps there are too many other exciting social medias to engage for the time!).

Home 2 Hub

This function exists still when you register, however, we have cleaned up the top bar from the website to delete the explanation of the home to hub, as it is quite self explanatory.  However, for those who aren't aware: Home to Hub is when you put down your regular commuting destination and your home (automatically recorded), and then check a box if you would like to be alerted when other users register travelling the same route.

Events

The Events now has a tab on the top bar as well as right hand side.  Cool Pool Tas is working with the community to encourage carpooling to events and meetings.  Customised carpooling links can also be purchased by event organisers- contact us for more info, or for your event to be added to the page!

Carpooling in Tasmania

On the right hand tab you will find three different categories of carpoolers- Work Commuters, Backpackers/Visitors and occasional carpoolers.
